The clear message to entrepreneurs and others involved in the commercial activity of the city that they should not give rise to a return to the pre-redevelopment situation, are now sending municipal actors, but also tourist operators of Paphos.
Due to irregularities found immediately after the relaxation of the measures, mainly in the tourist area, but also the difficult tourist season that awaits Cyprus due to the ongoing pandemic, the municipal authority makes it clear that after the huge regeneration effort that was successfully completed, no one will be allowed to restore practices of old times.
Information from "F" indicates that in this context the Municipality of Paphos is preparing for a new campaign in key parts of the city in the coming days, since visitor traffic to areas of the city is expected to increase with the partial reactivation of commercial life.
The officials expressed their satisfaction with the enrichment of the tourist product of the city and for the improvement of the order achieved in the last two years, which is why they send a stern warning to everyone not to take actions that will constitute defamation of the city and that will give the opportunity to some to deal in a negative way for Paphos and that will bring back bad practices of the past in its everyday life.
