It has been completed 15 days since the start of efforts to attract domestic tourism to Paphos province and based on statistics from the Paphos Region Tourism Development and Promotion Society (EFF) the campaign is a huge success.
More than 240,000 potential visitors have so far received the messages of the online campaign while the traffic of the website www.visitpafos.org.cy has recorded an increase of 20% from the corresponding period last year.
At the same time, there is a keen interest in visiting the whole province and very encouraging messages regarding the intention to arrange accommodation reservations mainly from the beginning of June onwards.
The Cyprus promotion campaign under way by the Paphos EFF, supported by the Ministry of Tourism, covers the entire province and includes an organized intensive campaign. In addition to the promotion battle from June there will be competitions with prizes for free stays and services.
Paphos expects with the parallel efforts of tourism professionals and the Ministry of Tourism to continue to be as always in the first preferences of the residents of Cyprus for holidays within the island, stresses a communication from the EFF.
Based on the messages of the campaign, Paphos invites the residents of Cyprus to visit its beautiful countryside, Akamas and the villages of Launa, the beautiful coastline Neos Xoria, Latsi, Argaka, Pomo, Pyrgos Tylliria and the wine villages.
