Concerns and concerns were raised by the Minister of Health about the images with thousands of Omonia fans celebrating the championship in Elias Pullos on Monday night.
In statements on sigma's midday broadcast, Mr. Ioannou stressed that we are not honoured by the images and make the situation even more difficult, while making it clear that there were clear violations of the decree.
He also said that the images from Elias Pullos were very sad and probably have an impact on the epidemiological picture since it is not excluded among the people who accumulated there that there were positive cases.
"For months we have been trying to convince people to comply with the measures, to cooperate with us, for months through decrees there are restrictions and yet yesterday we saw these images of thousands of people gathering at the Omonia training centre without protective measures, without anything," he noted, adding that "unfortunately the images we saw yesterday were very sad and probably have some impact on the epidemiological picture," he said.
