The fire service notified the public on Wednesday that it will be performing an agroforestry exercise next week.
The exercise, called “Pyrsos (Torch) 2021” will take place on Monday, May 24, between 10am and 12.30pm, at the Chantara area of Korakou village in the Nicosia district.
State and other services will participate alongside the fire service.
The announcement said people should not be alarmed as the exercise will employ both ground and air firefighting equipment.
