Vaccination coverage of the population against COVID-19 disease is under way, with the National Vaccination Plan accelerating, with the aim of scheduling appointments for people aged 40 and over by early May.
Specifically, the Vaccination Portal will be available for appointment arrangements between 18-24 April, as follows:
Priority date in the Vaccination Portal
Ages 64-67 - Sunday, April 18, 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Ages 51-52 - Monday, April 19, 7:30 a.m. to Tuesday, April 20, 8 p.m.
Ages 49-50 - Wednesday, April 21, 7:30 a.m. to Thursday, April 22, 8 p.m.
Ages 47-48 - Friday, April 23, 7:30 a.m. to Saturday, April 24, 8 p.m.
The Vaccination Portal will be accessible on the above dates and times only for the ages mentioned in each case and not for older people. Specifically, for Sunday, April 18th, and only for people aged 64-67, 16,900 appointments will be made available. Vaccinations will be carried out with the available licensed vaccines in the Vaccination Centres operating in all Provinces.
Up to 16 April, 207,547 vaccinations were carried out, of which 150,078 were for the administration of the 1st dose and 57,469 for both doses .
The 1st dose was given to 11,019 people in vulnerable groups and 780 bedridden persons at home or in their place of residence.
