The Paphos Sessions presents Loukas Louka (piano), Ioannis Karseras (double bass) and Andreas Stefanou (drums). From Bill Evans to Oscar Peterson, jazz pianists have formed trios to express the full melodic and harmonic power of the piano.

Loukas Louka (piano) is a Cypriot pianist and music teacher. He started studying classical piano from the age of 8. At the age of 22, he begun studying jazz piano with Cypriot jazz pianist Marios Toumbas and later he had lessons on jazz improvisation with Cypriot jazz guitarist Giannos Savvides. He participated for about 2 years in the Jazz Ensembles of the European University under the instruction of Marios Toumbas and also attended the “Jazz Futures” workshops that took place in Nicosia from 2008 until 2011, under the instruction of great jazz musicians from New York, such as Sacha Perry, Vahagn Hayrapetyan, Ari Roland and Chris Byars. In 2012, he succeeded taking the ALCM diploma in Jazz Piano of London College of Music. Since then, he has performed as a member in several jazz combos during various events in Cyprus. He is currently the leader of "The Greek Jazz Project" band, which is performing original greek jazz songs from the '40s, '50s & '60s. Loukas is currently teaching music in elementary schools and also performing jazz music in several jazz venues all around Cyprus.

Ioannis Karseras (double bass) is from Limassol, Cyprus. Ioannis received a Bachelor's degree in Music, Jazz Studies, Double Bass from the University of Northridge California State. Ioannis performed and recorded his own music in Cyprus and the USA with various artists and participated in folk music programmes in Europe.

Andreas Stefanou (drums) was born in Limassol in 1986. From the tender age of 9 he started playing drums and starts playing live with various musical groups in band competitions, concerts and recordings. After his service in the military philharmonic orchestra in 2006 he continues studying drums with George Koulas for a year. In 2007 was accepted at the Rotterdam Conservatoire in Holland in the direction of Latin Jazz. He there had the opportunity to study under the guidance of Lucas van Merwijk , Hans van Ousterhout, Kiko Fraidas and among others. In 2009 he went to New York to take a lesson from Mark Guiliana. He graduated from the conservatoire in June 2011 with distinction. Parallel to his studies he presents and takes part in various projects like The Hague Festival Latin Fanatics, De Doelen Brazilian Festival, Limassol Jazz Festival, Pomos Paradise Jazz Festival, Aglajia Jazz Festival with musicians from all over the globe, with Nelson Faria, Anna Ellis de Jong and others. He also takes part as a drummer in these groups: Funky Straat, Kafeney Quartet, Quintessence, Chevere Latin Jazz Project, Casus Belli, Nuevo Jaleo, Magunda Kinousa, The Heir Band, No More Jazz Trio and Ekon Nakon.
