THE MOST POWERFUL PASSPORTS OF 2021

 Along with other European Union countries, Cyprus earns a place in the picture, according to henley passport index rankings of the world's most powerful passports, with data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA). In particular, Cyprus is only 3 places below the ten, i.e. 13 places.

The ranking includes 199 passports, with Japan remaining at number 1 in the world, with its holders able to travel to 193 destinations without a Visa.

In 2nd place we meet Singapore, with corresponding possibility of travel to 192 destinations and then Germany and South Korea count 191 destinations without Visa.

4th place is won by 4 countries with 190 destinations (Finland, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain) while the top 5 group "closes" with Austria and Denmark with 189 destinations.

In 6th place, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Portugal and Sweden allow travel to 188 visa-free destinations to holders of the respective passports, while Belgium, New Zealand, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States cover 187 visa-free destinations soon after.

Greece along with the Czech Republic, Malta and Norway travel to 186 countries with their visa-free passport, dominating 8th place, while in 9th place are Australia and Canada with 185 destinations respectively.

The top ten is filled with Hungary, Lithuania, Poland and Slovakia with 183 visa-free destinations.  In the latter countries we meet Somalia, Yemen, Pakistan, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, with passports whose visa-free travel can take place in 26-34 countries.
