A dangerous product, which does not meet the current legislation laying down the essential safety and health requirements, has been marketed in the European Union.
The Department of Labour Inspection, ministry of labour, welfare and social insurance, informs the consumer that according to data registered in the Rapid Information Exchange System (RAPEX) the following product is dangerous.
1. Protective mask of Chinese origin.

Particle retention from the filter is insufficient (measured value ≤ 41 %).
The Department of Labour Inspection invites the consumer public, in case it detects the above product in the Cypriot market, to inform the relevant Officers of the Department at 22405663 or 22405603 or 22405604.
