The Department of Antiquities, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that the Archaeological Site of Amathus remains closed to the public from 5 April 2021, until further notice.
The decision was made after covid-19 cases were detected among the personnel serving at the site.
The Department of Antiquities apologizes for the inconvenience caused by the decision, which is nevertheless deemed necessary to protect public health.
