Access
to the Vaccination Portal for the arrangement of appointments by individuals
aged 59 and 60 |
According to the National
Vaccination Plan against COVID-19, the vaccinations of the population continue
on the basis of the age criterion. Specifically, only individuals aged 59 and 60 will have priority for arranging an
appointment on Friday, April 9th, from 8 am to 8 pm.
A total of 15,020
vaccination appointments will be available at Vaccination
Centres across Cyprus. The above adjustment was made
after consultation with the Deputy Ministry of Innovation, in order to reduce
the technical issues by overloading the system. For this purpose, older individuals (aged 61 and over)
will not have access to the Vaccination Portal on April 9th,
instead, they will be given the opportunity to make an appointment by
analogy, on Saturday, April 10th. As of April 7th, a total of 174,626
vaccinations have been administered, of which 124,165 concern the administration of the 1st
dose, and 50,461
concern the administration of both doses of the vaccine. The
1st dose of the vaccine has so far been administered to 9,788
individuals who fall into the vulnerable groups of the population. (MG) |
