A total of 131 reports of side effects have been made in Cyprus by persons who received coronavirus vaccines, most of them related to Pfizer's formulation.
In a statement during the press conference on the vaccination plan, Deputy Director of Pharmaceutical Services Elena Panagiotopoulou noted that of the 131 reports 109 were mild while 21 required hospitalization.
She added that 72 were vaccinated with Pfizer's formulation, 56 were vaccinated with the AstraZeneca formulation and 3 were vaccinated with the Moderna vaccine.
By the morning of April 16, she noted, 207,000 vaccinations had been carried out. In detail, 128,000 vaccinations were carried out with the Pfizer vaccine, 65,000 with the AstraZeneca vaccine and 14,000 with the Moderna vaccine.
