Vaccination Portal will be made available for people aged 64 and over |

Within the framework of the
National Vaccination Plan for COVID-19, vaccination coverage of the next age
group is in progress. Specifically, from tomorrow Thursday, 1st
April, at 8 a.m. until Sunday, 4th April at 7 p.m., 17,814
appointments for the vaccination of people aged 64 and over will be made
available via the Vaccination Portal. It is specified that all
appointments concern vaccinations with all three available licensed vaccines
of AstraZeneca, Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech. Vaccinations will be carried out
at Vaccination Centres island-wide. In the framework of the
strategy for the gradual de-escalation of restrictive measures, which depends
to a great degree on the percentage of people’s protection through the
vaccination coverage achieved within the next weeks, all citizens are urged
to proceed – in accordance to the priority groups – with the arrangement of a
vaccination appointment, as soon as possible. (EK/MPO) |
