The film "The Ghosts of Monday" starring Julian Sands began filming in Cyprus.
A press release sent to the media states that this is the 3rd film production in a row by Altadium Group, "The Ghosts of Monday", a thriller film that tells the story of a group of American film producers traveling to Cyprus to make a documentary at the famous Hotel Ula, where more than 100 people died under mysterious circumstances.
The new film, "The Ghosts of Monday", is directed by Italian director Francesco Cinquemani (The Poison Rose, starring John Travolta and Morgan Freeman, Andron, starring Danny Glover and Alec Baldwin), and produced by Altadium Group by Marianna Rosset, Vitaly Rosset and Loris Curci. The script is co-signed by Barry Keating (Nightworld, Downhill) and director Francesco Cinquemani, which is based on real events experienced and recounted by the film's producer, Loris Curci.
Filming has already begun since 8 February and the film will be shot entirely in Cyprus with the participation of a talented international cast and production team, the press release says.
The film is directed by Neil McGinley, who has previously worked as casting director on many other films such as Wrath of the Titans and War Horse directed by Steven Spielberg.
Talented actor Julian Sands (A Room With a View, Naked Lunch, Arachnophobia) stars in the role of the enigmatic, formerly famous actor, "Bruce McPherson", playing the presenter of the TV series "The Ghosts of the Old World".
