A tribute to the beauties of Cyprus, the website "The Telegraph" wrote in a report entitled "Why Cyprus is the best Mediterranean island of all".
Columnist Carol French makes special reference to the climate of Cyprus with its endless sunshine and sandy beaches, the activities that everyone can do, whether small or large, and stresses that the island is the most suitable location for holidays.
It refers to taverns and restaurants with local dishes as well as marinas and clubs which offer guests the opportunity to enjoy the nightlife of the island. On the other hand, it describes the world-famous archaeological sites such as Curium in Limassol province and the Tombs of the Kings in Paphos.
As described, guests often prefer to enjoy the sun from hotel pools, however it would be sad not to experience a trip to the Troodos mountains along the heloid roads with the hamlets. It also makes reference to the Monastery of Kykkos and notes that visitors can be rejuvenated in one of the many wineries.
Finally, it states that Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean and is a crossroads of three continents, Europe of Asia and Africa, which have influenced its history. Finally, it encourages visitors to taste local appetizers as well as Cypriot wine, while concluding that Cyprus "is an island that will charm your heart".
