Rainfall rose to 49% of normal for the month of March, falling from 1 March until 08:00 today.
According to preliminary data released by the Bureau of Meteorology, the average amount of precipitation that has fallen in the last 24 hours is 6.4 millimetres.
In particular, the largest amount of rainfall in the last 24 hours, according to the data, occurred in Stavros of Psoka with 16.2 mm, which corresponds to 18% of the normal rainfall for the region.
It was followed by Platanias and Prodromos with 13.5 mm, which corresponds to 22% of the normal rainfall for Platanias and 16% to Prodromos. It is followed by Polis with 13.4 mm which corresponds to 23% of the normal rainfall for the region.
The smallest amount of rainfall occurred at Paphos airport with 0.1 mm and then in Kornos with 1.3 mm and Larnaca Airport with 1.4 mm.
