A vehicle ended up in the water when its driver forgot to pull the handbrake while parked it in a marine area of Pegia.
According to the Police, the driver, a permanent resident of Paphos, had parked his vehicle at 07:15 in the morning in close proximity to the well-known wreck EDRO III, in the area of Pegia and allegedly did not pull on the handbrake, causing the vehicle with the same occupant to fall into the sea.
A telescopic machine was called to the scene and the driver was unharmed.
Examinations into the incident are continuing and it has been shown that the vehicle fell at the driver's fault.
