The Russian Sputnik V crown vaccine was the first to be registered worldwide and has already been approved in 53 countries for use.
Bavaria is likely to produce the Russian vaccine against the Sputnik V coronavirus, according to a state minister.
Speaking to FAZ, Minister-President Marcus Centre said that:
"We need to think more freely, generally speaking. This means authorizing the Russian Sputnik V vaccine as soon as possible if it complies with the requirements."
On Friday, the Bavarian Ministry of Health reportedly reported that R-Pharm, which produces Sputnik V, is considering extending the 30m-year budget facility. In the city of Ilersin, Bavaria, the amount of the aid was EUR 1 million.
The Russian Sputnik V vaccine has been approved in 53 countries and has a total population of over 1.4 billion people.
In February, the prominent medical publication "The Lancet" published an interim analysis for Phase 3 of clinical trials of the Russian vaccine, showing efficacy of 91.6% against symptomatic COVID-19.
The Gamageia Institute's Sputnik V became the world's first anti-coronavirus vaccine.
