In the wider maritime area of Souda in Crete, the 2nd co-training between Special Operations Forces Greece - Cyprus - USA took place from 16 to 24 March in the subjects of Naval Special Operations.
The co-training of the special forces is part of the cooperation of the three countries and the coordination of the activity was the Interdisciplinary Special Operations Command of OHIM, Greece.
The personnel had the opportunity to train in objects such as rapid reaction combat shots at static targets day and night, amphibious operations near the coast and classifications with practical application to the frigate "PSARA" and the training ship "ARIS" of the Hellenic Navy.
During the co-training of the special forces of Cyprus, Greece and the USA, the excellent training, the high level of professionalism and the excellent level of cooperation between the three countries in the design and execution of operations to deal with modern threats was confirmed.
