ARRIVALS FROM COUNTRIES CLASSIFIED AS IN THE RED CATEGORY

Cypriot citizens and legal residents of the Republic of Cyprus travelling from a country classified in the Red Category who do not present a negative PCR laboratory test carried out within 72 hours prior to their departure, should  isolate themselves for a period of 3 days

As stated by the Ministry of Transport, in this case, in order to end their self-isolation, they must::

(a) carry out a new PCR laboratory analysis, 3 days after arrival in Cyprus;

(b) the result is negative and

(c) send it to the e-mail address monada@mphs.moh.gov.cy .

In order to facilitate citizens, so that they can avoid self-isolation, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works recommends to Cypriot citizens and legal residents in the Republic of Cyprus who intend to travel from a country classified in the Red Category, that they carry out a PCR laboratory analysis, within 72 hours before their departure to Cyprus.

It is noted that all passengers arriving from Red Class countries undergo a PCR laboratory analysis upon arrival at airports in the Republic of Cyprus.

Finally, it is recalled that, on the basis of a Decision of the Council of Ministers dated 17 February 2021, passengers arriving from the United Kingdom until 31 March 2021 will remain in places designated by the Republic of Cyprus for a period of 7 days and the associated costs will be borne by the State.
