To date, the Ministry of Health has received ECDC results for 130 successful sequences (83+47), through which the British strain of the virus (23.8%) has been detected in a total of 31 samples.
According to the information provided by the Ministry from ECDC, the specialized laboratory tests were carried out on another 94 positive samples sent for sequencing of SARS-CoV-2 strains.
Of the 94 samples, sequencing was successful in the 47 samples of positive events in January. Three samples detected the British strain of the virus.
