Access to the Vaccination Portal to arrange vaccination appointments for COVID-19 will have from tomorrow, February 12, at 9 a.m., people over the age of 76. According to the National Vaccination Plan for COVID-19, the priority for vaccination is currently the age group of 75-79.
Please note that for better planning purposes, the Vaccination Portal will close today at 7 p.m. and reopen tomorrow at 9 a.m.
A total of 9,264 appointments will be made available for the Vaccination Centres operating in all Provinces. At the same time, from tomorrow, through the Vaccination Portal, citizens will be informed when arranging their appointment about the vaccine to be given to each Centre.
In order to avoid discomfort and confusion in the Vaccination Centres, and because it has been observed that in some cases citizens come much earlier than their scheduled appointment, a strong appeal is made that people who will be vaccinated go to the Vaccination Centres at the scheduled time of their appointment and not earlier.
It is recommended that citizens who fall into the age sub-group that has priority for vaccination, arrange an appointment on the first time available day and time, so that there is a continuous flow to the Vaccination Centres.
It is recalled that depending on the rate of exhaustion of appointments for people over the age of 76, citizens will be informed by means of a communication on the availability of appointments to subsequent age groups. Citizens are invited to follow the announcements of the Ministry of Health, so that they know the differences in the age group and make an appointment arrangement.
