Filenews 2 February 2021
The Vaccination Portal is available from tomorrow, 3 February 2021, at 9 a.m., as part of the implementation of the National Vaccination Plan for COVID-19. Appointments are available for those over 83 years of age who have not arranged an appointment in the previous weeks or have not already been vaccinated and relate to the period from 8 to 15 February 2021.
It is recommended that citizens who fall into the age sub-group that has priority for vaccination, arrange an appointment on the first time available day and time, so that there is a continuous flow to the Vaccination Centres.
At the same time, it should be noted that citizens who arrange appointments either for themselves or for people in their family or friendly environment should ensure that they enter the correct identification information (name, ID number, date of birth), as well as the correct telephone number, to which the confirmation for the appointment for the 1st dose as well as for the 2nd instalment is sent.
Citizens who have problems or have questions when arranging appointments can contact the Call Centre at 1474 (free call).
Depending on the rate of exhaustion of appointments for people over the age of 83, citizens will be informed by means of a communication on the availability of appointments to subsequent age groups. Citizens are invited to follow the announcements of the Ministry of Health, so that they know the differences in the age group and make an appointment arrangement.
Vaccinations are carried out in 10 Vaccination Centres in Cyprus from a total of 19 workshops. Vaccinations are carried out simultaneously by five mobile units, one in each Province, covering nursing home vaccinations, health infrastructure and mountainous/remote areas.
