As part of the mandatory weekly screening programme for workers with rapid antigen testing, the Ministry of Health specifies that the programme is also aimed at persons working as domestic helpers and/or responsible for the care of elderly or disabled persons or persons who cannot self-serve.
The employer is responsible for informing employees of the obligation and monitoring their compliance with the provisions of the Decree.
In addition, the program is for self-employed persons, who must undergo a rapid test weekly. In particular, workers who do not have a stable professional home and because of the nature of their work work in different premises/houses (e.g. electricians, plumbers, gardeners, etc.) and therefore have contact with more people should ensure that they carry out a weekly check, primarily ensuring their own health and safety.
