Free testing programs are continuing with rapid antigen testing of the general population and employees, with a view to continuous surveillance of the community and workplaces.
With a view to the smooth and safe operation of enterprises operating in accordance with the Decrees, employers in enterprises, as well as Heads in Departments/Services of the public and wider public sector have a responsibility to coordinate as employees undergo rapid testing, in order to ensure the mandatory weekly examination with rapid test of staff antigen as follows:
- Enterprises/services employing up to 3 persons , control should be carried out on all employees.
- Enterprises/services employing between 4 and 10 persons should be checked on at least 4 employees.
- Enterprises/services employing more than 11 persons should be checked on at least 4 persons or 20% of employees, whichever is greater in number .
In addition, self-employed persons, as well as persons working as domestic helpers and/or responsible for the care of the elderly or disabled or persons who cannot self-serve, must participate through the programme.
Therefore, workers may come to the sampling points operating in all Provinces, in accordance with the plan drawn up by the employer/head. For Thursday, February 25, sampling units will be located at the following Paphos locations:
Citizen Service Center, Paphos - 8.30am.-4.30pm.
Former Prefect's House, Paphos (Griva Digeni Street) - 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
ERA KORIVOS forecourt (by the Pafiakos Stadium) - 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Adult Centre of Geroskipou - 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Apostolos Andreas Church, Polis Chrysochous - 8.30am.-5pm.
Church of Christ birth, Tala (new church) - 9am -5.30pm.
Industrial Area of Mesogi (parking, next to Licensing Authority) - 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
