The Municipality of Paphos is progressing rapidly in the creation of a Municipal Service Centre.
The Mayor of Paphos Phaedon Phaedon, visited the construction site and welcomed the progress of the work, stressing that all transactions of the citizen with the Municipality and the S.A.P.A. (Paphos Commission) will take place there. "We are acting," mayor Paphos says in a written statement, "one stop shop".
The project is done with the assistance of the Cyprus Sports Organization. In this respect, the President of the CMO Andreas Michaelides signed a long-term agreement to rent a space of 250 sq.m., in the Parking Area of the Stadium "Stelios Kyriakidis" for the construction there of the Municipal Service Center, for a symbolic amount of 200 euros per year.
As stated in the written communication of the Municipality of Paphos, in this innovative Center, citizens will be able to process in an easy and fast way, without any parking problem and with the exploitation of digital technologies, more than 40 cases, such as payment of bills, payments of taxes, fees and out-of-court, health certificates, receipt of planning permits, issuance and receipt of dog ownership permits, liquor and audio licenses , lodging objections and complaints, issuing and receiving various certificates and many other cases.
In addition to the citizens of Paphos, the Centre will also serve the residents of the areas participating in the SSA, since this Centre will be integrated for the purpose of serving the public and services of the Paphos Board of Settlements.
