PAPHOS AREA RAPID TEST CENTRES - FRIDAY

 Filenews 4 February 2021

According to the current Ordinance, workers in enterprises/professional sectors returning to work on 8 February are required to undergo a rapid antigen test before returning to their workplace. In this context, the Cyprus free rapid antigen testing programme of the Ministry of Health continues, with the aim of ensuring that the reopening of enterprises/sectors is done smoothly and safely.

Based on the above and in order to allow the control of all employees who will return to their workplace, the employees have been grouped alphabetically on the basis of their last name, as follows:

Above - Friday 5/2 - Greek M-O, Latin N-R

              Saturday 6/2 - Greek Π-Σ, Latin S-V

              Sunday 7/2 - Greek T - Ω, Latin W-Z

Employees are encouraged to stick to the above alphabetical grouping, so that the program becomes organized and avoid overcrowding and inconvenience. Workers with an adjective from A – L (Greek alphabet) and A – M (Latin alphabet) have not underwent a laboratory test, are invited to do so in the coming days, since a condition to return to work is the presentation of a negative rapid test result.

The worker control programme shall be carried out at the same time as the general population control programme. For the better service of all citizens, for the period 5-7 February there will be 56sampling units in all Provinces and in extended hours.
