Officials of the Ministry of Health went to Paphos today to inspect sites that could be used for the operation of a new Vaccination Centre in the city. Today in Paphos there are three such centres in Paphos Hospital, both for the two doses of the age groups, as well as for the vulnerable population groups.
The ministry's most ideal prospect is the old electric multi-site in the centre of Paphos, which is why its representatives also met with the Mayor of Paphos with whom they discussed the issue. Phaedon Phaedon was positive about this prospect and it is now expected that the relevant procedures will be forwarded to the relevant departments of the Municipality in order to formalize the positive decision of the local authority.
In such a case, it is estimated that the almost ready infrastructure of the multi-site from now on will allow vaccinations to begin possibly as early as next week.
