The Portal opened at 9 a.m. this morning to enrol people over the age of 80 in vaccinations, but within half an hour the appointments were exhausted.
According to the information, a total of 3,466 appointments were given at nine vaccination centres. It is recalled that the quantities received relate to two doses per person and, following the instructions of the European Medicines Agency and the manufacturers, the quantity required for the 2nd dose is stored for administration at the prescribed time for each vaccine. Please note that six doses may be administered from each vial.
So far they have vaccinated more than 10,000 people with the first dose and since yesterday vaccination has started for the second dose.
