On the main roads of the road there is no particular problem on the morning of Monday, 25 January. Work will be carried out on the motorways of Paphos - Limassol, Nicosia - Limassol, Nicosia - Kokkonitrimithia and Larnaca - Paralimni.
Asphalt work will be carried out on the Paphos-Limassol motorway in both lanes, in the direction from Paphos to Limassol. During their traffic from Paphos to Limassol will be channelled through the opening of the divider, in the area of Ha Potami, in the opposite direction, which will be used for two-way vehicle traffic.
Work is expected to be completed next Wednesday, January 27. They will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day.
On the Nicosia – Limassol motorway, work will continue on the construction of a perimeter motorway and the left lane of the road, in the direction to Limassol, will remain closed to traffic, from the height of the Latsia Weighing Station, to the exit to the Industrial Area of Idalion. Traffic will be diverted to the other two lanes of the road, while the crossing to the Idari Industrial Area will continue as normal.
Work began on 18 January and is expected to be completed on 15 March.
Cleaning work will be carried out on the Nicosia – Kokkinotrimithia motorway, from the Anthoupolis junction to the Akaki roundabout. During them it will be partially closed in both directions to Nicosia and to Kokkinotrimithia-Akaki, the right lane of course, for a distance of about 200 meters. Traffic will be diverted to the left lane.
Work is expected to be completed around 3pm on Monday afternoon.
On the Larnaca – Paralimni Airport motorway, in the section from the airport to the exit to Xylofagos, cleaning work will be carried out on the base of the road in both directions to Larnaca and Paralimni. The work is not expected to affect traffic. They will last until March 25.
Road works will also be carried out on the streets of Sotira - Liopetriou and Xylophagos - Liopetriou, where parts of the roads will be closed to traffic. During the work, traffic will be channelled through adjacent roads and into certain sections in the adjacent lane using mobile traffic lights.
Work is expected to be completed next Friday, January 29. They will be held from 7.30 in the morning until 6.30 in the afternoon of each day.
Those on the road are encouraged to comply with traffic signals and comply with the road traffic code. Special attention is recommended to avoid road accidents.
