The Environmental authority gave the green light for the establishment of a big industrial zone within the boundaries of the Lakatamia Municipality, in an area next to the Nicosia Mall and the Pascal School.
On the north side of the proposed area is the Nicosia-Astromeritis highway. North-west is the Nicosia Mall and the private Pascal School, while the Homemate shop is in the opposite direction.
Around the plot there are pavements as well as a bicycle road.
