As vaccine appointments for the 80+ age bracket have been launched, it may be that you have a friend or neighbour who falls into this bracket and who is perhaps not computer-literate or who does not have computer access. Could you please check with that friend/neighbour and recommend to them that if they wish to have the vaccine, they speak to their GP to arrange a vaccination appointment for them.
New appointments for the vaccine for those 80+ will be launched Monday 11 January, but feedback is that the best avenue for obtaining an appointment is to ring your GP direct.
The GESY system has restrictions in place to ensure that anyone under the age of 80 attempting to log in and book an appointment will be blocked.
Please bear in mind that frustrating as it is, GESY is only releasing appointments as batches of vaccine are received. The supply chain is slow due to demand at the present time.
Once an appointment has been booked for you, you will receive a text on your mobile phone - this will be in Greek:
In English, this translates to:
Confirmation of appointment for vaccination [day, date, time] at the centre General Hospital of Paphos
