The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that, at today's meeting, the Council of Ministers has decided to continue the existing measures applicable to flights and airports in the Republic of Cyprus until 1 March 2021.
It is noted that on the basis of a Decision of the Council of Ministers dated 3 December 2020, the amended Action Plan for the gradual resumption of flights and the reopening of airports will enter into force on 1 March 2021.
The decision was taken in the context of the exceptional measures taken to tackle the coronavirus pandemic and therefore there will be no transitional phase until the full implementation of the amended Action Plan for the gradual resumption of flights and the reopening of airports.
