As part of the efforts made by the Police to further intensify the measures and fully implement the decrees aimed at tackling the pandemic, the Minister of Justice, Emily Yolitis and the Chief of Police, Stelios Papatheodorou decided to strengthen the ways of communication of citizens with the Police, as well as to set up a temporary unit in the Police, in each province , to better deal with the situation.
In addition to the existing various ways of making complaints from citizens about violation of orders, citizens will be able either by name, anonymously to file complaints or to transmit information concerning a violation of relevant orders by citizens, premises or businesses at 1460, 22606803 and 22606804 as of Wednesday, 9 December 2020.
"We need conscription and accountability from all of us to prevent the virus from spreading further and to return to normality, which we all want," the Police said in a statement.
