On the occasion of the announcement of new measures to tackle the pandemic, the Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry points out the following:
It shares the view that on the basis of the epidemiological picture of the country, as reflected in the large numbers of new cases recorded daily, measures are necessary.
Meanwhile, the situation in Limassol has improved considerably in contrast to other provinces, where there is an outbreak.
On the basis of the above, the Limassol IVE considers that Limassol (and Paphos) should be exempted from any tightening of the measures, which will contribute to the sense of justice of every citizen and to the equal treatment of all provinces.
