DOG PACK IN TALA
Re the pack of dogs in Tala, strenuous efforts are being made to catch them and get them off the roads. These efforts have been ongoing for some time now.
This is not an easy task, due partly to the number, and also to the fact that they are savvy and know the various cut throughs so they can escape.
If anyone is putting food out for them, could you please stop. Arrangements have been made to feed them on a regular basis at one spot, with the feeders attempting to befriend the dogs - their number has been reduced as a result - so they can be caught and removed.
I am afraid it is not simply a matter of ringing Paphiakos – they will not come out unless a dog is contained as they know that otherwise any dog will flee and they have had a wasted trip.
