During 24 hours from Monday until Tuesday police booked 76 individuals and four businesses for not complying with Covid-19 decrees while carrying out 4,197 checks nationwide.
31 of them were caught in Limassol as a result of 1,333 inspections.
In Nicosia officers conducted 777 inspections, in Larnaca 830, in Paphos 634, in Famagusta 478 and in the Morphou region 132.
13 individuals were booked in Nicosia, six in Larnaca, 17 in Paphos, eight in Famagusta and one in Morphou.
Marine police did not report any illegalities.
