The amounts paid by the four Qualified Bidders, who met the relevant evaluation criteria: Cyprus Telecommunications Authority, Epic Ltd, Cablenet Communication Systems PLC and Primetel PLC in the Bidding Process for the Establishment and Operation of Fifth Generation Networks (5G), reveals Insider.
The total of €41.6m (£41.6m) is reportedly to be used to fund the project. allocated and absorbed by the market the entire spectrum (460 MHz) offered, in the 700 MHz and 3.6 GHz bands was formed as follows:

-Cablenet €8.7m
-Primetel €8.5m
The first 5G networks will start operating in the first quarter of 2021.
