In 90 complaints from citizens and six premises for violation of the protection measures against the crown, the Police proceeded in the last 24 hours.
According to a police spokesman, the total checks from 06:00 on Wednesday to 06:00 this morning amounted to 3,980 throughout free Cyprus.
In Nicosia, the Police made complaints of 34 citizens and one premises after 846 checks, while in Limassol there were 20 complaints of citizens and one of the premises after 1,206 checks were carried out.
In Larnaca 749 checks were carried out with 13 complaints from citizens, while in Paphos 8 citizens and 4 premises were reported after 619 checks.
In Famagusta the Police carried out 414 checks making 10 complaints of citizens, while in Morfu the checks amounted to 121 to 5 complaints of citizens.
Finally, the Port Police carried out 25 checks, without making any complaints.
