- A total of 12,042 disease detection tests have been carried out, of which 4,132 have been carried out using the molecular method (PCR) and 7,910 using the rapid test.

- 410 new cases of the disease were detected and confirmed by molecular tests (PCRs), bringing the total number of cases to 17,057. The 410 include 113 verifications from rapid tests of the previous days.

- In 199 cases the rapid antigen test had a positive result, which should be verified by the molecular method (PCR).

A. Deaths from COVID-19:

The two people who died with the final cause of death attributed to COVID-19 concern:

- Male, aged 61, with a serious medical history, who was hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit of the Nicosia General Hospital.
