The Ministry of Health informs citizens that under the new revised protocol for the release of cases in the community, drawn up in cooperation with the Advisory Scientific Committee, they are designated as patient managers, who have been diagnosed positive, with a sampling date of 20 November 2020 onwards, the Personal Physicians of adults and children.
The Personal Physician, who will be informed immediately and at the same time as the patient about the positive laboratory result, will monitor his patients, who are positive with the new crown, until their release, so it is important that patients communicate directly with their Personal Physician.
The Epidemiological Surveillance and Control Unit of Infectious Diseases will continue to play the coordinating and supervisory role of the whole process.
The monitoring and release of those citizens diagnosed as positive and not registered as a Personal Physician will continue to be carried out by the Infectious Diseases Epidemiological Surveillance and Control Unit.
