A joint operation between the Police and the Ministry of Labour arrested owners and irregular workers at the two slaughterhouses which are under the microscope of the authorities after the positive incidents of coronavirus detected and brought to light a series of illegalities.
As we are informed, the owners of the two slaughterhouses as well as workers were arrested for an offence of illegal employment without contracts. Those arrested are expected to be charged in writing and released in order to be brought to justice at a later stage.
