There have been several reports of opportunistic thieves entering properties whilst the owners are in residence, usually through an open or unlocked door or window.
Please ensure that you do not leave doors and windows open which are out of your sight. If you are sat on your patio at the front of the house, please ensure the back of the property is secure, and vice versa. Usually these thieves grab a wallet, purse or handbag, but there was a recent incident where a safe was thrown out of a window by the thief.
