The forestry department has issued a fire red alert as hot, dry conditions continue and thousands will be flocking mountain resorts over the weekend.
The danger of break outs and the spreading of forest fires is on the highest, red level, said authorities, who are appealing to the public to refrain from any actions or activities that might be conducive to a break out.
The numbers to call if you see smoke or fire, are 1407 (Forestry Department) or 112 (the Fire Service).
