With increasing temperatures, please take care:
1 If you have doors and/or windows open, please ensure that these are visible to you.
2 If you are sitting outside, again please ensure that any open/unlocked doors and/or windows are visible to you
3 Whenever you leave the house, even if only for a short period of time, please ensure all windows and doors are locked
Opportunistic thefts are occurring on a regular basis in the Paphos area, usually with access gained through an open or unlocked window or door. Access could be whilst you are outside in the garden, or on a different floor of the house.
Please do not keep cash on the premises, nor valuable jewellery. Ensure that any valuables are locked away in a suitable safe.
Please do not leave anything of value in your vehicle. Again, please ensure windows are closed and doors locked whenever the vehicle is left.
If you see any person or vehicle acting suspiciously, please phone the Police on 1460. Alternatively, please take a note of the description, including registration number of any vehicle, the location, time and date seen - this information may be useful in the event of an incident in your area.
