COFFEE TABLES, INSIDE RESTAURANTS, CAFES - WHAT CHANGES FROM TOMORROW

In the next phase of the gradual lifting of restrictive measures Cyprus enters from Tuesday with the reopening of indoor dining areas. Although it is summer, however, with the opening of interiors, the number of customers who can accept a dining area is increasing due to restrictive measures. 
 From 9 June, shopping malls, airports and ports are reopened for cruise ship service, theatres and open-ended cinemas again on the basis of their square meters, sports leagues without fans, kindergartens and nurseries, children's clubs, outdoor playgrounds, all-day summer and public schools with the reopening of canteens to serve students or galleys for feeding students in schools, as well as summer schools. Visits are allowed in all state and private hospitals.

The catering companies will take another breath as from 9 June table placement and by extension customers inside the shops. Indoors and outdoor catering services including the following businesses may be operated:    Restaurants, hotels and tourist accommodations, taverns, cafes, pizzerias, beer-snack bars and bars, cafes, canteens or places to dining schools, sports groups, cultural groups, clubs, clubs, etc. According to the special guidelines for dining areas the maximum number of people indoors is one person per 3 square meters. The maximum number of people per table is 10. The use of air conditioners may be permitted provided that the introduction of fresh air is ensured either by the use of mechanical systems or by natural ventilation of the space.
From 9 June, persons who are members of commercial vessel crews or crew members on platforms carrying out exploratory drilling within exclusive Economic Zones of States with which the Republic established diplomatic relations or members of cruise ship crews on decommissioning shall be permitted from 9 June.   Also members of crews of commercial pleasure craft who either dock at the ports of the Republic or arrive by commercial flights or by flights which, exceptionally, are permitted by commercial flights. The company in which they work or the agent, who is responsible for changing the crew, also undertake the transport of the crews arriving by air from the airport to the port of departure, under strict protective measures.  If there is no synchronisation between the arrival of the ship and the arrival of the flight or if the results of the molecular examinations are pending, the company or the agent shall make arrangements with the authorities for the stay of the crew in designated quarantine accommodation until the arrival of the flight or ship. Where possible, the disembarkation crew shall remain on board until the flight date. The activity of passenger vessels, recreational fishing vessels and the transport of divers, private vessels and marine sports undertakings may also operate, provided that the safety and health guidelines issued by the Ministry of Shipping are complied with.
