A 75-year-old Paphos resident, who was charged in writing yesterday in connection with a dog abuse case, is expected to be heard before a court.
The case was brought under investigation by the Police after posting a specific video on social media. The video showed a car moving on paphos roads, carrying a dog on its front bonnet, thus endangering both the dog and other road users from a possible car accident.
From the police examinations, it was found that the owner of the vehicle is a 75-year-old resident of Paphos. Yesterday the 75-year-old was called and taken to a police station. The man allegedly pleaded guilty and was charged in writing with summons to court.
The Paphos Department of Microoffences is investigating the case.
