Police said on Wednesday that they have located a small number of fake 50 euro bills bearing the same serial number and urged the public to be careful in their transactions.
The serial number is PB0696643999 as pictured below, but police do not exclude the possibility of more counterfeit bills on the market with a different serial number or of a different value.
Police call on the public to call the 1460 line or their nearest police station if they notice anything suspicious.
