The Labour Ministry has clarified that it special schemes, including leave to look after children, continue to June 12.
It said it had come to its attention that employers were contacting employees who were on the child care scheme — introduced because schools had closed — to return to work because the second period of the schemes had ended on May 12.
“It is clarified that the special schemes implemented by the Labour Ministry including child care are in force until June 12, 2020,” it said in a written announcement.
