Notified by a reader of the Blog that they received a phone call on their landline recently from 'Cytanet Internet Division'.
They were told that whilst using the internet, another device was trying to download a large file that had caused an alert to show on their system. This was disputed by the recipient of the call, and the caller hung up. No internet was being used at the time of the call.
CYTA have been advised and are investigating to see if they can track where the call originated.
If you receive a similar call, please take a note of the date and time of the call, the number called from [if shown on your phone] and notify CYTA please.
