A further three repatriation flights will land today at Larnaca Airport, carrying Cypriot citizens who were trapped abroad due to the pandemic, as well as students that wanted to return home.
The first flight is expected from Herakleion just before three in the afternoon and a further two from the UK - Birmingham at 18:50 and London at 20:50.
Transport Minister Yiannis Karousos said that the repatriation programme will be running daily until April 30, based the priorities on the governments’ list of passengers.
They include people in vulnerable groups, students in foundation courses living in halls, as well as other students who will be grouped accordingly and return to Cyprus on various flights.
